In short, the operational
level is where the planning process "rubber" meets the day-to-day world of the
proverbial "road". It is here that the tasks are assigned, the jobs get done,
and assessment and reevaluation take place. While most agricultural managers are very good at the steps of the operational level, without the strategic and tactical planning that must precede it, they may find themselves perpetually climbing ladders that always seem to be leaning against the wrong wall. |
